We have users operating our software out of a single location and customers with multiple sites each operating independently, as well as clients with multiple locations linked to one central computer system.

About the Opportunity

These mid-level positions are for ETL Developers helping new customers to convert their existing data to our new generation products. Focus is on requirements gathering and development of process automation related to insertion and extraction of business data, utilizing the Pervasive product toolset. Some travel to customer sites may be necessary for installations and consulting. Will also maintain existing components.

Successful Candidates Must

• Analyze complex external data and map to our product.
• Define objectives by gathering and analyzing user requirements directly from our customers.
• Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Design and conduct tests.
• Provide well-tested, detailed deployment documentation in compliance of existing Configuration Management policies.
• Contribute to team meetings.
• Troubleshoot development problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

Skills/Qualifications

• 2+ years ETL programming.
• 2+ years work with databases and SQL.
• Experience with the Pervasive product a definite plus.
• Experience with the MS-SQL Server database product a definite plus.
• Experience with scripting languages a plus.
• Experience with Java a definite plus.
• Ability to handle projects with minimal supervision as well as work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills a must.
• Strong code testing and debugging skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong Teamwork Ethic and Customer Support Focus.
• Ability to work with large bodies of complex code.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated and creative.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related Technology Field or equivalent experience.
