About the Opportunity

This mid-level position is for ETL/SSRS Developers helping our customers to get started with our new generation products. Focus is on training and support on ETL and SSRS for new customers and development of process automation related to insertion and extraction of business data, creating custom reports and utilizing the Pervasive / SSRS product toolsets. Some travel to customer sites may be necessary for installations and consulting. Will also maintain existing components.

Successful Candidates Must

• Define objectives by analyzing user requirements.
• Envision system features and functionality working in conjunction with Product Management Designs and develops ETL process by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle.
• Design and conduct tests.
• Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Contribute to team meetings.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Provide well-tested, detailed deployment documentation in compliance of existing Configuration Management policies.

Skills/Qualifications

• Customer training experience.
• 2+ years ETL programming.
• 2+ years SSRS programming.
• 2+ years work with databases and SQL.
• Experience with the Pervasive product a definite plus.
• Experience with the MS-SQL Server database product a definite plus.
• Experience with scripting languages a plus.
• Experience with Java a definite plus.
• Ability to handle projects with minimal supervision as well as work in a team environment.
• Ability to plan and document training sessions.
• Excellent communication skills a must.
• Strong code testing and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Software Requirements and Software Development Documentation.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong Teamwork Ethic and Customer Support Focus.
• Ability to work with large bodies of complex code.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated and creative.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related Technology Field or equivalent experience.
